I did my research before purchasing this for $53 to get next day shipping. While the flavor isn't as bad as some other matchas out there, it's not good flavor. I'll finish the container, but I'll be bummed the whole time because I've had way cheaper matchas that taste significantly better. I've probably tried 10 different matchas over the course of a couple years.Everyone knows what it's like to get that perfect matcha latte and want it again. This is absolutely not that. The flavor is underwhelming. When I do get a taste of it, it's overly bitter. Doesn't have that kind of sweet, grassy, floral goodness you hope for. The green color isn't bad either, but it's not as vibrant as others made it sound. No returns either so I am stuck with it. Learn from my lesson!Packaging and and other reviews are good. I actually love how this was packaged, with a can pop top. Most matchas are in a sealed bag, or a can with a sealed bag stuffed inside. I wish I could like this, I just honestly don't.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m really looking forward to the taste! The packaging looks nice and the ingredients seem promising.However, I was quite surprised by how small the portion size is for the price. It’s definitely smaller than I expected. Also, the expiration date is only until September 26, which feels a bit short considering I just received it.
The matcha is really smooth and perfect color. Does not have a chemical smell it more fragrant as a natural leaf but it is smooth and does thicken quite well. I would buy again from same provider although my container did come dented it did not have an affect on the product or break the tin.
This Japanese matcha is a 10/10! The color is a vibrant green, the powder is very fine, and it mixes smoothly without clumps. I got this because of Meredith Mao @mereheartsyou on TikTok. I really enjoy her content and i wanted a matcha that tastes strongly.Although this matcha is not the degree of strong I like it, it is far better than the ceremonial matchas available in my area and it is fairly priced. It is not a very large amount but it is enough to try it out and see if you like it since i believe they have a larger version.It is very fresh and completely sealed when you open it. The texture is light and the colour is vibrant. It is very easy to sift and makes blending very easy if you do. It makes a very bright and beautiful matcha latte.Although the taste wasnt as strong as I wanted it to be I still think it is very good quality and will be purchasing more from the brand !!
I purchased this 4 times and since I’m a heavy matcha drinker I had to stop buying it because it is way too expensive here but nonetheless if you don’t drink that much and you’re looking for a great matcha taste without the overly bitter taste then this is absolutely perfect. This is actually considered an entry level matcha and in my opinion Isuzu fromthe same brand is way better and more sweeter. As you can see it has such a vibrant green color and it makes a nice foam. You can drink it directly with water as it doesn’t have that bitter aftertaste. If you are a heavy matcha drinker then just buy it directly from them, you will have to pay the shipping but for this amount of money you’ll get 200g around 7oz.
I admit I am new to this world of fine matcha. I almost made my first experience with a food grade brand which would have been a mistake since food grade tends to have a bitterness to it. So I opted to buy the best I could afford without breaking the bank and feeling stupid about the purchase later. I know there's different ways to prepare but I prefer to use a fine mesh to strain the powder through. I invested in the wise and I'll glad I did because it works beautifully.This matcha is nice. There is no bitterness, it is smooth and even has a hint of sweetness. It is what I would expect tastewise. I don't add anything to it when I drink it as I prefer the natural flavor. There is no umami. I don't know if there's a technique to creating foam but I tried and tried and got very little. My next purchase will be a tea known for umami because I want to try it. I did a smear test and the tea is smooth. No grains! Nice bright color too.Update: acutely if you add about 2 teaspoons, you can get it to foam.

I drink it every morning with hot water only. no milk or sugar just hot water and matcha. Took awhile to get used to at first but after I started to like the taste it did help with my cravings and so I ate less which helped lose weight. Will definitely buy again when I want to go back on it again.
